New Inspiring HDR by Trey Ratcliff

First off, what is HDR you ask? High Dynamic Range imaging – it allows for a more dynamic range between the light and dark areas in an image. Yes, it gets more complicated than that, so check Wikipedia if you need more info. This post is a focus on the pure awesomeness of HDR images from Trey Ratcliff. And awesome they are.

The color in these images is simply amazing, and the landscape photos with clouds seem to be particularity extraordinary. 16 Examples of Amazing Morning Sunrise Photography

If you’re like me and happen to be a night person, then you probably don’t see the sunrise too often (unless you happen to be partying all night). It’s something that a lot of us probably take for granted just how special a thing it really is. The promise of a new day, new possibilities and new challenges that lay ahead, waiting to be embraced and conquered.

Beautiful Snow Covered Landscapes Photography

With regards toward Winter, people seem to fall into one of two categories – love it or hate it. Myself, I’ve always been a fan of winter. Everything from the crisp air, to falling snowflakes that bring about a new picture of the world, it’s always been one of my favorite seasons. This series of photographs captures the beauty and spirit of Winter snow. You, know that short period of time before it starts to turn a gross color and becomes more burden than beauty.

The use of black and white photography is a perfect choice for shooting these beautiful snow covered landscapes. It really captures the simplicity of the white snow covered trees and city streets. There’s just something serene about waking up and gazing out the window at a quite snow covered field or neighborhood street (driveway shoveling aside). A Winter snowfall has the ability to make nearly any landscape, no matter how familiar, look different and new. Enjoy the photos.
