Dream House: Villa-K in Nagano, Japan

This week we present you the amazing Villa-K, a project by Mutsue Hayakusa Cell Space Architects. The house is located in Nagano, Japan and it’s simply awesome. The wide glass windows, the huge interiors spaces, the roofs – everything matches perfectly creating a house that looks simple and impressive at the same time. The angled ceiling give the interiors a wide and cozy look and the clean and neat decoration are great too. Another dream house we all wish we owned.

Dream House: Fish House in Singapore

This week we present you the astonishing Fish House in Singapore. The Fish House is a project by Guz Architects, a firm that seeks to produce refreshing architecture that is tranquil, inspired by nature, yet human in scale. The Fish House project is an environmentally friendly seafront house that embraces Singapore’s tropical climate by creating an open, breezy space, giving residents views from every room to the ocean as well as into the garden with its huge swimming pool. This beautiful home manages to create a very natural residence that is totally integrated with its surroundings. The wide glass windows, the wood elements, the angular roofs and the integration with nature give this dream house an gorgeous look!

Dream House: Cliff House in Kerala, India

This week we present you the beautiful Cliff House. The Cliff House is a project by Khosla Associates, a leading Architecture firm in Bangalore, India. The Cliff house project gets it’s attention by its asymmetrical angled roof. The beauty of the project is completed by the mix of concrete, cement, slatted timber and local kota stone. The clean and cozy interiors and the infinite pool give the house an amazing visual.

Dream House: KvD in Netherlands

This week we present you the super elegant House KvD. The House KvD is a project by Grosfeld Van der Velde Architects – a firm that believes that each projects has its own essence and personality and that this is something really important to follow on the creative process.

KVD is an elegant house. Its square-shaped volume keeps you in constant contact with the environment. It has wide clean spaces, minimal interiors, the beautiful nature views… everything is stylish. It’s certainly a dream house and another great architecture accomplishment.

Dream House: Concrete House II in Madrid

The Concrete House II is a project by A-cero architecture studio. This house is beautifully made. The concrete seem to mix with the nature surrounding the house, creating a unique look. The interiors of the house are huge and modern, the decoration is minimal yet awe-inspiring, with lots of neutral colors and unique colored elements to break the regularity. Madrid’s Concrete House II is truly a dream house.

Dream House: Belvedere House in Florida

The Belvedere house is a project by Shulman + Associates, a firm founded by Allan Shulman, FAIA in 1996. The Belvedere house has a 2-story interior atrium and feature stair at its center, high ceilings and abundant french doors opening toward the pool, patio and bay. The house takes advantage of its long, narrow massing to create an indoor sequence of high-ceiling spaces that are naturally lit in the daytime and cross-ventilated to allow comfortable interaction with the outdoors.

The Belvedere house is beautiful and elegant, it has a minimal look and the white mixed with glass, wood and some steel elements are pleasent. The indoors natural lighting and the views are truely amazing!

Dream House: House in Ubatuba, Brazil

WOW. This week’s dream house has left me nearly speechless. Its like a wood and concrete masterpiece hanging above a breathtaking paradise.

A project by SPBR, a design office located in São Paulo, Brazil, the Ubatuba house is a 55m x 16m ground plot, located at Tenório’s Beach – Ubatuba, São Paulo. The plot goes up the hill from the beach in a 50% slope hill, only reaching street level at 28 meters. Supported by three columns of reinforced concrete and steel beams that lay on top elevate the house into the tropical canopy above.

Dream House: Huis-JCMZ in Chevy Chase, Maryland

First off, I had know idea there was a Chevy Chase, MD. Was this common knowledge? So many questions come to mind. Does he live there? Are there any Griswalds in the area? … Okay, I’m getting off topic. Back to the dream house…

A project by Studio27 Architecture, the Huis-JCMZ house is a modern design beauty that you’d expect to see in maybe Barcelona or the Hollywood Hills, rather than Maryland. The modern domestic space of the house has a very open living area, with rooms arranged in the home to provide privacy much in the same layout that buildings are arranged in an urban setting. Not to say that the home doesn’t have a homey, comfortable feel.

Dream House: Lake Forest Park in Seattle

This week we unveil the elegant Lake Forest Park, an amazingly designed dream house that keeps the simplicity and clarity of the original 1950′s Northwest Contemporary house. Besides the amazing look, the house counts with sustainable design – green materials and radiant heating under terrazzo flooring has created a heat source with maximum energy efficiency. Located in Seattle., the Lake Forest Park is a project by Finne Architects., an architectural design firm that was founded by Nils Finne and established in Seattle in 1994.

Dream House: Syncline House in Colorado

This week we unveil the beautiful Syncline House, an amazingly designed home that nearly rivals its majestic natural surroundings. Located in between the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains, the Syncline House is a project by Arch 11, an architectural design firm that was founded in 1993 by James Trewitt and E.J. Meade.
