Opening a package of something you just bought is a great experience and many people love it! There is an old adage that taught us: “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” but in a world where there are thousands of competitors for any one specific product, this doesn’t hold true. Package design has become one the most important elements of a product. Its primary goal is to attract customers attention – whether the product is a consumable good, hardware, a service, or even a website it may be missed if the package doesn’t communicate to the consumer.

In these posts, we’ll take a look at attractive and beautiful packaging designs for various products, designed by some of the best designers around the globe.

An effective packaging looks attractive and impresses with its creativity. Generally consumers tend to purchase/view a product where the packaging is most intriguing and appealing. With the right use of color, typography and packaging materials, creative packaging can build brand awareness, represent the company in a positive light, boost sales of the product and make it stand out from the competitors.

Many great designers think outside of the box – no pun intended – to make their products stand out the most, and it’s great to see that some companies give the proper care and attention on providing great packages for products. The style, color, shape, material… everything matters.

As usual, we’ll search for package designs in these galleries: Lovely Package, TheDieline, Behance Network, ffffound! and others.
